Lard Feijen
Old Fashioned Luxury began with a collector's eye. As a watch enthusiast, Lard Feijen kept running into the same thing: the watches were extraordinary, but what they were stored and carried in was either mass-produced or simply lacked the feel a fine watch deserves.
So he set out to make it himself. Handmade leather watch accessories that make owning a watch feel like an occasion, and keep it safe long enough to be handed down.
Today he runs OFL from the Netherlands, working directly with the artisans who make every piece.
A fine watch can last for generations. The things that keep it safe should be made with the same patience.

Made by hand in Turkey
Every OFL piece is made by a small group of master leather artisans in Turkey, known for their precision and their long experience with luxury leather.
Leather is cut, stitched and finished by hand, in small batches. No machines, no shortcuts. It is slower, and it is the reason no two pieces are exactly alike.
Finished pieces are shipped from the Netherlands to collectors around the world.

Time at the bench
Good leatherwork can't be hurried. This is what goes into a single piece.

A Cliff's watch pouch, cut from bridle leather and stitched by hand.

A watch case for ten to fifteen watches, with gold-plated hardware and Amiet locks.

Chosen to age well
Materials that look better after years of use, not worse.
Full-grain leather
Calf and bridle leather kept in its natural grain, so every piece develops its own patina with use.
LWG-certified suede
Interiors are lined with suede from Leather Working Group certified tanneries, soft enough to protect a polished case.
Gold-plated hardware
Our cases carry 24k gold-plated fittings and Swiss Amiet combination locks, chosen to last as long as the leather.
